Fees and payouts
Who pays what, and how money will move.
Publishers earn the full commission an advertiser lists. The Slice fee is charged to the advertiser on top of the commission and is never deducted from, or shown as part of, a publisher's commission.
Example: on a €100 sale with a 20% commission, the publisher earns €20. The advertiser pays €24, which includes a €4 Slice fee.
The money lifecycle
- Tracked: the conversion was recorded. Nothing is owed yet.
- Pending: inside the validation period (returns period + 7 days, at most 67). The advertiser can decline fraud with a reason.
- Approved: validated, waiting for the advertiser's funding.
- Available: the advertiser's funds were collected and cleared. Can be paid out.
- Paid: the payment provider confirmed the payout.
- Declined or reversed: rejected during validation, or reversed by a refund or dispute.
Today Slice tracks conversions and turns each credited sale into a pending commission, then approves it when validation ends (advertisers can decline with a reason, or approve early). Advertiser funding and payouts are being built and are not live. Nothing on Slice moves real money yet.
